Thanksgiving week - how can it be?
Time does fly, even when we're in the midst of a pandemic. Nothing about this has been fun. Although - I have enjoyed working my day job from home. And as winter takes it's toll, I'll be even happier that I don't have to get in the car and drive on the snow and ice.
See how easy it was to find something positive to say!?
In this season, we might have to search a little longer and look a little deeper, but there are always things for which we can be grateful.
- I don't have to leave the house if I don't want to.
- No snowy, icy roads at 7 in the morning.
- Flavored coffee.
- I have a job that I like.
- I work with a great group of people.
- The company I work for is very people oriented.
- Business is good.
- My home life is quiet, stable, comfortable and without drama.
- My husband is a saint.
- He has more patience than anyone I know.
- Because he puts up with me.
- And usually doesn't grumble much.
- He cooks and bakes, does laundry and the grocery shopping.
- He buys me flavored coffee.
- And barbecued potato chips.
- So I don't have to leave the house if I don't want to.
- He takes me on road trips and rock hounding adventures.
- And usually doesn't grumble much.
- Even when I need to look at rocks for 5 more minutes that turn into 30.
- I would have a hard time putting up with me.
