This necklace was inspired by the gorgeous focal, a porcelain pendant made by Maria of Majoyoal ceramics here on Etsy. A blue bird sits above brown leaves with a purple background. Sublime! The colors in the pendant are mirrored in the Czech Glass beads - rondelles, flowers, faceted rondelles and more.
I wire wrapped a glass quatre foile in dark aqua and connected it to the pendant and then to the necklace. Then I beaded the necklace with 49 strand beading wire and high quality glass beads in dark aqua, lighter aqua , lavender and purple. Between each bead are light rose gold and copper spacer beads and bead caps.
Closure is an antique copper lobster clasp that connects to jump rings.
Length is about 19 inches.
