Artisan Porcelain Bird Necklace, Blue Brown and Cream Ceramic Gemstone and Czech Glass Necklace, Gift for Her
This necklace was inspired by the gorgeous focal, a porcelain pendant made by Maria of Majoyoal ceramics here on Etsy. The colors are calm and soothing - neutral brown, blue, aqua and a very light mottled green. The top center of the pendant has a bird in profile almost like a cameo, with ivory scrollwork on the botom.
I wire wrapped the pendant with copper wire, and connected Czech Maple Leaves, ivory rondelles, small blue rondelles and tiny copper bead caps.
The necklace sides alternate between links of Maple leaves and Tiger's Eye rounds with more of the same beads. A small drop of African Turquoise and blue glass dangles in the front of the pendant.
Copper wire, chain, bead caps and clasp tie it all together. The links are connected to a medium sized link copper chain making the necklace adjustable in length from 18 to 22 inches.
Closure is an antique copper lobster clasp.
Comes in a cotton-filled gold foil box perfect for gift-giving or for yourself!
