Larvikite Gemstone Earrings, Gray Black Gemstone Earrings, Gray Gemstones and Faceted Glass Rondelle Earrings, Gift for Wife
These earrings feature square Larvikite beads with faceted glass rondelles that sparkle in the light. These earrings are a lovely mix of dark metallic grays and iridescence.
Larvikite is a member of the Feldspar family. The name originates from the Larvik Fjord region in Norway, where this type of igneous rock is found. It is sometimes misleadingly called Black Moonstone and even Labradorite, probably because they are all Feldspar minerals and because of the flash of irridescence.
Larvikite has also been called Norwegian Moonstone, Black Labradorite, Birds Eye Granite, Pearlspar, Blue Pearl, Emerald Pearl, Norwegian Pearl Granite, and Blue Norwegian Moonstone.
I've seen it used for countertops - and it's gorgeous with variegated grays and black with flashes of a blue / silver sheen.
Copper French hook ear wires are shown. Message me if you need a different type of metal ear wire. I have Sterling Silver (additional $4) , Surgical Steel and 14k Gold Fill (additional $8).
Earring length is 1.5 inches.
Comes in a cotton-filled gold foil box perfect for gift-giving or for yourself!
